scor_logo_registered.jpgWASHINGTON - Joe Francis has been appointed to the role of SCC Executive Director. Mr. Francis has a long history of service to SCC, as a former volunteer board member, frequent speaker and advocate on behalf of the Council, and more recently in the last two years as Chief Technology Officer.

While in that role, Joe worked with staff and volunteers to create more than 10 different training classes in multiple languages, create the current certification program, create the benchmarking program, grow the global training staff from eight to over 24 key individuals in all chapters, and drive together with staff and the SCC Technical Development Steering Committee, the most significant update in SCC Intellectual Property in several years.

Caspar Hunsche will be taking on the role of Chief Technology Officer. Caspar has contributed substantially to SCC, leading volunteer projects since 2002, authoring extensions to Supply-Chain Council Intellectual Property including our Design Chain Framework, and Customer Chain Framework, and authoring several of our significant training offerings.

Both executives are based in Houston, Texas and can be reached through the Supply-Chain Council Headquarters at +1 (202) 962-0440.

About the Supply-Chain Council

The Supply-Chain Council (SCC) is a global non-profit consortium whose methodology, diagnostic and benchmarking tools help nearly a thousand organizations make dramatic and rapid improvements in supply chain processes. SCC has established the supply chain world’s most widely accepted framework for evaluating and comparing supply chain activities and their performance. The framework—the SCOR® process reference model—lets companies quickly determine and compare the performance of supply chain and related operations within their company or against other companies. SCC continually advances its tools and educates sponsors about how companies are capitalizing on those tools. For information, visit www.supply-chain.org
