Pinnacle Expands DSC’s Warehouse Management Services With Transportation Services
CHICAGO - Pinnacle Foods Group Inc., one of North America's largest packaged food companies and maker of Duncan Hines baking mixes, Log Cabin and Mrs. Butterworth's syrup, Open Pit barbeque sauce, Hungry Man and Swanson frozen dinners and Vlasic pickles, has awarded DSC Logistics, an integrated logistics and supply chain management company, headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois, transportation management services for Pinnacle product shipping from DSC's California Logistics Centers.
In April 2007 Pinnacle Foods awarded DSC warehousing and distribution management services. Now DSC will be providing transportation services for Pinnacle out of their Mira Loma and Tracy, California, Logistics Centers. DSC receives Pinnacle Foods’ products from their six primary manufacturing locations in the Mid-West and East Coast at their Logistics Centers, provides Warehouse Management Services, and is now managing the transportation to major retailers located in 11 states on the west coast and Canada.
