FORT WORTH, TX - Owens Corning recently named BNSF Railway Company (BNSF) as a recipient of their 2006 Global Logistics Carrier of the Year award for Enterprise Carrier of the Year for Intermodal Services and Enterprise Rail Carrier of the year for Carload Rail Services.
The Owens Corning Global Logistics team recognized BNSF for superior on-time performance, while contributing significantly to the success of the entire Owens Corning enterprise in 2006. BNSF was among a select group of carriers that Owens Corning recognized at its World Headquarters in Toledo, Ohio for extraordinary commitment to Owens Corning. Owens Corning annually recognizes carriers of all modes for both inbound and outbound transportation service.
