TruckertoTrucker.com Announces Innovative Truck Routing Service for US Interstates I-10 and I-70

E-mail Print PDF
Culver, IN January 26, 2007 - The Internet has made a wide array of information available to serve corporate America and the public. The lives of virtually every American have been affected. How we purchase, shop, bank, travel, study and obtain the news has changed dramatically over the last decade.

Trucker to Trucker has gathered information that is widely available on the Internet and placed it in an innovative format that can be more easily used by the thousands of truck drivers that traverse the roads of our nation.

A driver can visit the trucker to trucker web site, go to the route planning guide and select a start and end point for a trip. An instantaneous listing of the major corporate truck stops is provided including some independent stops that maintain web sites as well as the highway exit, telephone number and the availability of Wi-Fi services. Also included are links to the selected truck stop webs sites where information about services and fuel prices can be obtained. Currently the information is available for I-10 and I-70, but plans are already underway to expand the service if the trucking community finds it beneficial.

Jim McCormack, owner of Trucker to Trucker, states that he was discussing with his staff how they could best serve the trucking community that uses his site when the idea came to mind. "We wanted to be able to provide a service that said thank-you to the thousands that have trusted in us. Our hope is that this service will be widely used."

It is hoped that the major corporate truck stops will avail themselves of the opportunity to make their fuel price information more user friendly by enabling RSS feeds or other automated systems that will enable the routing service to provide more easily accessible fuel price comparisons.

Trucker to Trucker
is proud to be able to incorporate this tool into its reseller and specialized equipment web site to serve the interests of the truckers that contribute to a vital segment of our economy. Contact: Jim McCormack Trucker To Trucker LLC
