When reading articles about trade and transport nothing is more aggravating than being forced to subscribe or sign in just to read the "full" article. There are so many websites out there that display a catchy title and one or two sentences in their article or feed but when you click on the "read more" link, your trapped as the site demands you to login or subscribe.
I found this practice to be a pain in the butt. I wished I could find a cargo and trade related site where you could enjoy the articles without logging in or subscribing to some "30 day trial". Don't get me wrong there are some very informative sites out there without restrictions but few and far between. Most of these sites are "data mining" your info and want nothing else but to grab your contact info so they can market you and make you pay for a subscription or barrage you with ads with every paragraph you read. Click, click, and click through five or six pages just to read a basic press release.
AhoyCargo's main purpose is so individuals can browse the site without logging in or barraging you with a page full of ads. We want you to enjoy the articles without the need to fill out a form.
